This is an in-vehicle sensor that enables liquid level detection for a variety of fuels. Uses a linear output Hall IC to select the analog type or digital type voltage output characteristic.
Due to the fluctuation of the liquid level, the voltage value fluctuates as the float moves up and down. This voltage change is output to the fuel meter. The magnet that works with the arm attached to the float rotates around the Hall IC, which changes the magnetic flux and the voltage output from the IC.
A leed switch is inserted inside the stem, and when the float goes up and down in response to the floatingness of the liquid level, the leed switch is operated by the magnetic force of the magnet built into the float and becomes ON.
When the float is separated, the magnetic field is excluded, the elasticity of the leed fragment opens the contact, and becomes OFF.
