Apologies and Reminders regarding Spam e-mails (Spoof e-mails) Posing as our Employees
We have confirmed that suspicious e-mails have been sent from outsiders pretending to be Nippon Seiki and Nippon Seiki group employee.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern this may cause to our customers and other concerned parties who have received these suspicious “spoofed” emails.
We suspect this to be a malware “Emotet”.
These suspicious e-mails are attached with files in ZIP format with password. In some cases the attached file name and password are written in the message text.
As there are risks of virus infection and unauthorized access to your computer, please delete the email and do not open such attachments or click on the URL.
Nippon Seiki group is taking all possible actions to prevent unauthorized access and to secure information security. We will continue to strengthen our safety measures.
